Mae Folsom Jacobson hails from Seattle, Washington, where she graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Washington. After a six-year stint as a magazine editor, she moved to Vancouver to complete her Master's Degree at UBC's School of Journalism. Mae loves to swim in the sea, fly kites, and visit art museums. She is particularly interested in feature writing and bringing people's voices to life through vibrant, creative work. She believes there is never a dull day when it comes to telling stories. Mae lives with her orange cat, Cheeto, and is unabashedly obsessed with all things pop culture (yes, even celebrities)!
