Updates

Campaign Packs

Ghostit has been working very hard over the last couple of months on some very special projects. One of those projects is a new product launch for 2018 featuring what we are calling “Campaign Packs”.

Over the last year, we’ve noticed an opportunity in the solutions we offer. This isn’t necessarily a flaw in what we provide, but rather a kink in perceived success. Let me explain. It is not surprising that published content takes time before results are shown.

When we talk about results we are talking about what all businesses look for when they invest in marketing, leads. It takes time for people to organically search for your content, and for that content to climb up the ranks in search. Having content has always been one part of a two-part solution when you’re looking at online marketing. For faster, broader reach, you will need to invest in distribution. What our “Campaign Packs” are designed to do is to take the perfect audience for each of our clients’ businesses, and port that audience into the best-paid platforms out there.

Wait, what?

Let’s take a step back. Unlike content mills, Ghostit prides itself on working closely with the individual businesses to develop a customized, in-depth, content strategy for each of our clients. This is the initial, and most crucial step to creating thoughtful content.  Through this process, we are able to build your perfect audience. So, what does this mean?

Well, in order to write great content, we have to know who your audience will be, which isn’t as easy as you think it is. We narrow down their interests and build the buyer personas. This ends up being the blueprint for our Campaign Packs.

These audiences are then inputted into Facebook Ads, Google Search, Or Google Display Network. The content produced is boosted with paid ads using the criteria we’ve developed through the initial stages of building that custom content strategy. What ends up happening is specific, and faster reach to those who matter in order to drive the results that matter. Leads.

Analytics

Our second update involves the analytics side of things. We are currently in the development stages of building a reporting tool into our software. This will also be launching in the first couple of months of the new year. This reporting tool will show exactly how the content being produced for you will act in your funnel.

If a reader lands on your site and navigates to other areas of the website before engaging in a call to action, this tool will enable the capture of information to show exactly how a specific blog post or your blog, in general, has influenced an action.

For example, if a reader lands on your blog, goes to your home page before buying a product, you will be able to see how that specific blog post has affected that sign-up.

This probably sounds pretty straightforward and common sense, but it is a huge gap in the industry. People don’t actually know how to attribute content to revenue, rather, there is no specific tool to make this connection. So hopefully this tool will be able to provide clients with a way to monitor the performance of individual blogs.

Editorial Calendar

Finally, we have an editorial calendar coming out, which will allow you to plan all your social posts, your blog posts, and your campaigns. Everything that you need to do for your content marketing is going to be viewable on an editorial calendar. This powerful tool will not only allow you to view your month ahead of time but to have a hand planning out your month of content. Ghostit aims to automate your content, but we don’t want to take away our client's sense of control. This tool is designed to increase transparency between the client and the content team, allowing for the best collaboration.
